Welcome to Camp Hoover site reservations!

PLEASE READ COVID RESPONSE INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING HERE.

Council properties are open to troops for day and overnight use and all safety guidelines in accordance with the CDC, state, and local health authorities must be followed. Troop meetings on council premises, as with normal Girl Scout programs, should abide with Safety Activity Checkpoints in terms of two unrelated adult volunteers, adult-to-girl ratios, etc. Especially for troop meetings indoors, taking temperatures prior to attendance may not always be possible–but it is certainly ideal. A signed Annual Permission/Health Form for each member is essential; it asks the signer to attest to very specific COVID-19-related health factors such as being symptom free and risks of contagion from a COVID-19 positive person within 14 days of the event. Meetings on council premises will require completion of our visitor logs and cleaning checklist.

Troops may reserve sites up to 7 months in advance. Service Units up to 9 months in advance.  50% payment is required at the time of the reservation.

To make a reservation follow the steps below:

• Select your category from the menu
• Then select the date you want to go camping. 
  • Don't forget to check how many nights you want to stay under the "Duration" box
• Note: If you are visiting camp for just the day, use "Day Use" category.  

Reservations are confirmed when you receive an email. 

​If any buildings, Waterfront, Archery range or equipment are not reserved by you, they will be available for other Girl Scout groups or the council to use, even when you are on the property. Service Unit Encampment rentals do not automatically rent the Waterfront or Archery range, please be sure to add them to your rental if you want to use them.

If you are an outside group (including non-GSNYPENN Girl Scout Councils) and wish to make a reservation, please contact us at info@gsnypenn.org.  If an online reservation is made by an outside group, the council reserves the right to cancel the reservation immediately.
