Horseback Riding Overnight Camp
Come spend two whole days with horses and tons of time riding! Come to D&K Ranch to work one-on-one with their Wranglers as you learn horse behavior, understanding safety on the ground and mounted, and the basics of horse training. Why do they do what they do? Learn about the athletic nature of the horse, including what conformation and condition mean. You will experience balanced riding and trail rides over several sessions working with the horses. On-site cabins are available for the overnight camping, or you can pitch your own tent! Participants must provide their own meals, but outdoor cooking facilities and a fridge to store food will be provided. Note that a minimum number of girls must be met in order to run this program. Adults are chaperones only and will not participate in riding.
Full refunds are given if GSNYPENN cancels a Council-run program or event. Troops, groups or individuals will be notified as soon as possible when a decision is made. Payments for all Council programs and events are non-refundable, unless Council cancels the event, or the registering person/group cancels PRIOR to the registration deadline.
Any refund or credit requested may e settled on a case by case basis and is subject to a 25% processing fee, deducted from the original payment total.
No refunds or credit will be given for 'no-shows' for any reason.
All deposits are non-refundable.
