Explore the Hidden Gems of Madison County

Join us for a day trip to explore hidden gems of Madison County! Our day starts at the Great Swamp where you will learn more about the rich black soil by taking a swamp tromp and participating in a local birds and mammals workshop. After lunch, get in the Girl Scout van and cruise over to the Oneida Community Mansion House to solve a history mystery about Madison County and how the Oneida children lived hundreds of years ago. The Mansion House includes five historic buildings packed with heritage and cultural exhibits, situated on 33 acres of landscaped lawns and gardens. How amazing is that? Finish the day exploring the lush gardens on our own to see all their beauty! Enjoy a program-packed day of taking a journey through time and exploring outdoors! Bring a bagged lunch. A fun patch and snack will be provided!

*Van will pick up at 8:30 a.m. and drop off at 4 p.m. at the Canastota McDonald's, 13 N. Peterboro St., Canastota, NY 13032.*

This is First aider provided; this is a Drop off Program.
