Night Owls July 18-23 2021

Venture out after dark to find constellations, have a glow party, play flashlight tag, go on a night hike, learn about nocturnal animals and more!  Have no fear, you will be able to participate in classic camp activities like archery and swimming during the day. 

Session A is for Cadettes/Seniors/Ambassadors. Levels are determined by the grade they are going into in the fall.


Camp Life

At Amahami, our campers have traditionally experienced camp life within their unit group. They go to activities together, sleep in the same unit and will plan their week as a group. We will be limiting units from interacting closely and will be having socially distanced all-camp and campfire activities.

Buddies

If your camper would like to be placed with a buddy, they MUST request each other on Camp Doc and sign up for the same theme. Only 2 campers may request each other and they must be in the same age level. 


Fees

New for 2021, we will have a voluntary, 3-tiered pricing system. Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, we are instituting a voluntary fee structure. Choose the tier that’s best for your family!

  • Tier A – Our traditionally subsidized cost, representing a $100 subsidy
  • Tier B – Partially subsidized cost, representing a $50 subsidy
  • Tier C – Closest to the TRUE cost of camp, if you’re able to pay this amount—please do so

If additional support is needed to make camp possible for your girl, financial assistance is available for registered Girl Scouts. Please fill out this request form and submit it online.

Trading Post

 Would you like to pre-order a Camp Amahami bundle (includes a Camp Amahami t-shirt, pennant, and camp patch). Your bundle will be available for pick up during camp check-in.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds are given if GSNYPENN cancels a Council-run program or event. Troops, groups or individuals will be notified as soon as possible when a decision is made. Payments for all Council programs and events are non-refundable, unless Council cancels the event, or the registering person/group cancels PRIOR to the registration deadline.

Any refund or credit requested may be settled on a case by case basis and is subject to a 25% processing fee, deducted from the original payment total.

No refunds or credit will be given for 'no-shows' for any reason. 

All deposits are non-refundable.
