Troop Camp on Demand
Summer is here and we can't wait to see your troop back at camp! We’ll provide everything you need to experience camp the way it’s meant to be. Your troop will get an entire outdoor pavilion to yourself and a latrine for your troops use. We’ll provide 1 hour of activity instruction of your choice, along with an activity kit that includes instructions and all of the supplies needed to earn a badge or complete a leadership training program in a day at camp. Staff will also be nearby onsite to help you with anything you might need and to make sure you’re comfortable, happy and safe.
Troop Camp on Demand is not a drop-off program. Staff are on-site to provide some instruction and support, not supervision. Volunteers are expected to supervise their girls at all times. Proper face coverings are required at all times.
Your day will be spent entirely outside, dress appropriately and bring layers for cold/rainy weather.
Staff-Led Activity Choices available at Amahami are*:
- Archery (not available for Daisies) and/or Tomahawk Throwing (CSA's). Daisies can do slingshots.
- Riflery (ages 12+ only, not all Cadettes may be old enough)
- Orienteering
- Primitive Skills (tracking, shelter building, knots, carving/knife safety, firebuilding - you can pick 2 of these for your hour!)

Activity Kits Available:
Daisy: Choose between Trail Adventure badge or Eco Learner badge
Brownie: Choose between Hiker badge or Eco Friend badge
Junior: Choose between Geocacher badge or Animal Habitats badge
Cadette: Choose between Public Speaker badge, Trees badge or Leadership Training (covers step 2 of earning Program Aide)
Senior/Ambassador: Leadership Training (covers step 2 of earning Volunteer-in-Training Award)
