Girl Scouts Take Albany! (Multiple Pick Up Sites)

This event is open to Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors only.

Take a trip with Girl Scouts to visit the Capitol! Visit the oldest and largest museum in the country to learn about New York State through art, science and history. Take a tour of the capitol building to see the amazing architecture that was ahead of its time and see the spaces where actual legislation happens. A scavenger hunt will help you learn the rich history.

This program includes transportation to Albany, snack, drink and fun patch. Please bring a bagged lunch; dress for weather and walking.

Transportation Details:

A 10 passenger van will depart from the following service centers: Cicero, New Hartford, Horseheads and Watertown between 8:00-9:00am. The anticipated return time is 5pm. Please be sure to leave the staff person with a cell phone number to reach you in case of time changes.

A confirmation email will be sent closer to the date of the event with your specific departure time and location.

Adults not required, can drop off.

Cost is $30/girl.

Register between February 1 - March 6.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds are given if GSNYPENN cancels a Council-run program or event. Troops, groups or individuals will be notified as soon as possible when a decision is made. Payments for all Council programs and events are non-refundable, unless Council cancels the event, or the registering person/group cancels PRIOR to the registration deadline.

Any refund or credit requested may e settled on a case by case basis and is subject to a 25% processing fee, deducted from the original payment total.

No refunds or credit will be given for 'no-shows' for any reason. 

All deposits are non-refundable.
